HORA BARATA

Privacy Policy

App name: Hora Barata (formerly Eco Claims Pocket)

Developer: Sillapps

Effective date: October 12, 2026

Versión en español: Política de privacidad

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Hora Barata handles information when you use the mobile application. Hora Barata shows the Spanish regulated electricity price (PVPC) hour by hour and helps you find the cheapest time to use electricity.

Data controller

The app is published by Maxime Silla Pellicer (Sillapps), sole trader, 19 Rue des Causses, 91940 Les Ulis, France. Contact: contact@sillapps.com.

Data collected

Hora Barata does not collect, store on a server, or share personal data. There is no account, no analytics SDK and no advertising SDK. The only exception is the push token described under “Alert by push notification”, created only if you turn on the Pro alerts.

The app stores a small amount of data locally on your device: your preferences (language, taxes display, appliance duration, alerts on or off), a cache of recent electricity prices, whether Hora Barata Pro is unlocked (or a trial is active), and when the app last asked you to rate it.

Like any app's, these settings can be part of your phone's backup (your Google account on Android, iCloud or a computer on iPhone), under your control and the store's policies; the developer has no access to it.

Network requests

To download prices, the app sends anonymous requests to public open-data services of Red Eléctrica (apidatos.ree.es and api.esios.ree.es). These requests contain only the date requested. As with any internet request, those services can see your IP address; their processing is governed by Red Eléctrica's own policies.

Purchases

Hora Barata Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play (or the App Store on iOS). Payment details are handled entirely by the store; the developer does not receive your payment information. The app only checks with the store whether Pro is owned.

Ratings and reviews

The app may occasionally ask you to rate it using the store's official rating prompt (Google Play's In-App Review API, or the App Store's on iPhone). The prompt is shown and handled by the store: the developer does not receive your rating or review through the app, and any review you post is published on the store under your account, according to the store's policies.

Notifications and widget

The free "Avísame" reminder of the planner and the Pro alerts are local notifications, scheduled on your own device, except the "tomorrow's prices are out" alert described below. The home screen widget reads prices stored locally by the app. None of these features sends data anywhere.

Alert by push notification

With the Pro alerts on, the app tells you once a day, as soon as Red Eléctrica publishes tomorrow's prices (around 20:15), the cheapest hour of tomorrow. When you turn the alerts on, the app registers with Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging (and, on iPhone, Apple's push notification service), which gives your phone a push token, and subscribes it to one topic shared by everyone who uses the alerts. Once a day, shortly after publication, an automated job sends one message to that topic. The message is the same for everyone: it contains tomorrow's public prices and no personal data. Your phone then words the alert with your own settings (language, taxes, Canary Islands time) and schedules tomorrow's alerts.

The developer never receives the tokens and keeps no list of users. Google stores the token to deliver the messages, as a processor on the developer's behalf, under the Firebase terms (firebase.google.com/support/privacy); Google can also see your IP address when your phone connects to it. Turning the alerts off, or the end of the free trial, unsubscribes your phone and deletes its token. If you never turn the alerts on, no push token is created.

Error log

The app keeps the last eight technical errors on your device (message and place in the code, no personal data). Nothing is sent automatically: they only leave your phone if you send them with "Contacto y sugerencias" ("Contact and suggestions" in English), which opens an e-mail to contact@sillapps.com that you can review before sending.

Google Play and App Store

Downloading and updating the app, purchases and reviews go through Google Play, which is operated by Google under its own privacy policy, or through the App Store on iPhone, operated by Apple under its own privacy policy. The stores may provide the developer with aggregated statistics (such as installs and crash reports) through their consoles; these do not identify you.

Data retention and deletion

All app data stays on your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app storage or uninstalling the app. The push token, if any, is deleted when you turn the alerts off; Google deletes unused tokens on its own after a period of inactivity.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, and to object to its processing. In practice Sillapps does not process any personal data through the app, so there is nothing to access or delete on our side. If you write to us by email, we use your address and message only to reply, and keep them only as long as needed to handle your request.

You can exercise these rights or ask any question at contact@sillapps.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, such as the CNIL in France (cnil.fr) or the AEPD in Spain (aepd.es).

Children's privacy

Hora Barata is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the app's data handling changes. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
